Elder abuse is often a silent crime. Most of us never see it because most victims are abused behind closed doors by their own family members or other trusted person. It has no boundaries, occurs anywhere, anytime with all races, religions and cultures, rich and poor.
This event is intended to provide us with knowledge and awareness about elder abuse in our community. The speakers are all professionals in the field with years of experience and sure to provide meaningful information on this topic.
A resource table will be present to provide relevant take home material for every interested participant.
